GRAFFITI WATCH #1: Roseville Road 3/23/09

So to start off the purpose of this blog is to showcase some of the street art in the Sacramento region, not necissarily the chicken-scratch, spray-and-run tags you get a lot of the time around here, but graffiti that is saying something or at least has some artistic merit.

The first edition of Graffiti Watch takes us to the train tracks off Roseville Road where a train has been stopped for quite awhile today. I spotted it this morning and had to get a shot of the biggest piece, which covered an entire side of the car, but there were some trees in the way. I came back later to see if I could get photos, and sure enough the train was still there.

My little brother creeped into the photo so I decided to leave him in the shot just to show how big these all are.

There he is again :P

This one was particularly eye-catching, second only to the finale, IMO.

I attempted to get the whole thing in one picture but unfortunately (again) there were trees in the way. But I like both of these pictures anyway, so there!

Trains are like a goldmine to me -- I get all excited whenever I see them go past, especially if I have a camera handy.

About Me

18. Pissed. I mean, I know everything will be all right eventually, because things tend to work out when they should -- but really, what's up world? You're not doing a very good job. I would help, but I'm just a kid. Most people don't take me seriously. But that's where they're wrong; see, I'm quite serious. Quite serious, indeed.
